Harsh Habitat
Caterpillar

We are learning how and why certain organisms adapt to different habitats. Here is your chance to create your own caterpillar and learn why they adapt in different ways. Go to the build a caterpillar link and try building a few different types of caterpillars.
Make sure you pay VERY close attention to the scene (top left) and the notes (bottom right) when you are creating your little buddy caterpillar.
Build a Caterpillar
Now for something different

In this activity you get to design animals. Play around and see if you can create an animal that would adapt well to an environment in Guatemala. What adaptations did you give it to make sure it survives?
How is this activity realistic? How is it unrealistic?
PS. The zebra/frog is NOT a real animal. The photo was made on a computer.
